NStant Play Silver

Point Click and Play

The simplicity of NStantPlay Silver hardly warrants an explanation. Pick a clip you want to play, click it and it starts to play. Beyond the simple, NStantPlay Silver becomes very powerful. There are actually a number of ways to choose which clip you want to play. Assignable buttons, Drop Down List and Combo Box. An optional loop mode will keep the same clip playing as long as you want.

The combo box above gives you the power to either type the name of the clip you want to play or choose from a drop down list. The list on the right is a list of all currently available clips and their duration. From this list you may click to choose the clip you want to play. You may also drag material from this list and assign it to a specific button.

The number of buttons you choose to use is configurable and may be any value from 1 to 256. Each button indicates a clip name and can be an icon, or key frame, if that information is available. After assigning which clip is assigned to which button, you are ready to begin playing. Simply click the button you want to play and play it.

You can also 'Cue' the clip and get it ready to play. Video servers require anywhere from 1 second to 5 seconds to ready a clip to play. Once ready, most servers can play the clip relatively immediately. Cueing the clip prior to playing, increases the quality of your presentation.

The buttons are configurable. Choose which clips you want to play and assign it to a button. If material is no longer present, or has not been added yet, the missing material is indicated in a user assigned color (in this case Red). In a similar manner available material is indicated, in this configuration, green. The clip that is currently Cued is highlighted in yellow and the currently playing, or last to play, is highlighted in green.

The control of the system is Cue, Play and Stop. Cueing is accomplished by right clicking a button where as Play may be accomplished in a variety of ways. Stopping a clip in progress can be done by clicking the stop button. The Loop button puts the system in a state where it will cue the same clip it just started playing. Cueing a different clip will cause it to be the 'Loop' clip after the next transition.

A variety of status windows keeps you informed as to what the heck is going on.
